The Schedule

Every cleanse that I read about had guidelines that should be followed and these are the ones that I applied to the cleanse;

  • Green Tea helps if you start to feel hungry
  • Prior to starting the cleanse, you should start to cut down on processed foods, caffeine, alcohol, sugars, dairy and red meat (remember, ASK your doctor if you have health concerns)
  • Drink the juices every 2 hours with either water or herbal tea between each juice
  • If you exercise often, during the cleanse only participate in light exercises and if you exercise in the morning, drink half of juice 6 prior to exercise
  • Know your limits and don't push yourself too much - no one understands your body better than you!
Ok so here is the schedule I followed for the juice cleanse;
DAY ONE -

  1. Avocado Smoothie
  2. Spicy Lemon Water
  3. Lentil Soup
  4. Pineapple Mint Juice
  5. Broccoli Soup
  6. Almond Milk Smoothie

DAY TWO - 

  1. Mixed Berry Smoothie
  2. Spicy Lemon Water
  3. Lentil Soup
  4. Green Smoothie 
  5. Zucchini Soup
  6. Almond Milk Smoothie
DAY THREE -

  1. Avocado Smoothie
  2. Spicy Lemon Water
  3. Zucchini Soup
  4. Pineapple Mint Juice
  5. Broccoli Soup
  6. Almond Milk Smoothie

Generally, you can mix and match the juices as all are natural and you might prefer some juices more than others. However, you should start and end your day with a smoothie and have soup for lunch and dinner. My favourite juices were Avocado Smoothie and Pineapple Mint Juice. I could drink those all day everyday! Remember to drink plenty of water/herbal tea (NO SUGAR!)
